Our Christmas Story

Lately we have been working on the real Christmas story with the girls, you know the one about the greatest gift of all, Jesus! When we read the story with the girls, we let them act it out with a hand-made stuffed nativity set that my grandmother, the one who passed away on Christmas day, made. When I was a little girl I spent many hours playing with it and setting it up just right! My mom passed it on to me and my family this year. Our story, as told by Ivy, has two babies! When we get to the part about baby Jesus laying in the manger, He is accompanied by Ella! We like our version of the story, its so precious and innocent and personal to us!
