A letter from Aunt Ana on Christmas Day

Ella,
It's been 1 month since you've been gone. I think of you so often and wonder if it will always be this way. There are times now, though, that I can think of you or even talk about you without crying. Some days I can go the whole day without crying over you, but other days I cry many times. Today is one of those days. It would have been your first Christmas and we all missed you so much. It's so hard not to think about all the things we've missed out on with you, but I am trying hard not to dwell on that. I will always cherish the time we did have, especially knowing how much love was always surrounding you. I miss you so much!! Until we meet again....
