Smiles for Ella

I sometimes think about how the girls will not grow up with Ella and how Alida will never meet her. And then I wonder if maybe she did know her before she came into this realm and tonight I am sure we got confirmation of that. I was sitting on the couch holding her and she was looking around and she stopped when she locked eyes with a photo of Ella on the wall. A huge smile came upon her face and she lay there smiling for a few minutes! For a two week old she does smile quite often, but never for that long of a time. I motioned for Drew to look at her, then he followed her gaze to Ella's picture and we smiled and I cried. It was beautiful.
